Billy Joel has some awesome hits that have withstood the test of time and I’m finally posting covers for three of his songs that I’ve been singing since I was a youngster. I’m an old fart now! LOL! In fact, The Stranger is my second favorite album of all-time. So many Billy Joel hits to choose from, but I video-taped three covers, one right after the other. I’m starting off my Billy Joel set with “She’s Got A Way”. I was just fourteen years old and discovering my vocal abilities when this was hot on the airwaves! Enjoy! ;)
From Wikipedia: "She's Got a Way" is a song by Billy Joel. The original version is on the 1971 album Cold Spring Harbor, while the remade live version was released as a single from the 1981 album Songs in the Attic and peaked at number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in early 1982. After its original recording, Joel no longer appreciated the song as much as he originally had. In an interview, he "thought [it] was a cornball for years. I had trouble singing it at first. Then I got into it and decided everybody has a corny side, I suppose."
