This is how I felt when I met my wife for the first time almost fourteen years ago. Blissfully married for twelve years and raising three incredible children has inspired me to feel the same way with every breath I take. The immeasurable love my wife and children give to me, I unconditionally give back to them. I was a junior in high school when Billy Ocean’s “Suddenly” hit the airwaves. I continue to enjoy singing this song after 27 years. And
now, I’m singing this for my wife on Mother’s Day 2012. Happy Mother’s Day, my love! =)

"Suddenly" is a popular song from 1985 written and performed by the Trinidadian-born, British-based pop music singer Billy Ocean. It is the title track to the singer's 1984 breakthrough album, which was produced by Keith Diamond. Released as the third single from the album (following the success of "Caribbean Queen" and "Loverboy"), the ballad "Suddenly", reached the top five on the UK Singles Chart in mid-1985, peaking at number four. The song reached the same chart peak on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US, spending two weeks at number four in June of that year. It peaked at number five on the Billboard R&B chart and spent two weeks at number one on the Billboard adult contemporary chart.
