For my “summer song” 2017, I delved into my archive of videos which hadn’t been posted. I have more than a dozen that haven’t made it to YouTube yet. Most of the unposted videos come from the time before I started recording with my home studio. I simply set up my video camera and pressed record while I sang in my family room. Those were the simple days of recording the music I love.

The song was a success in the USA, winning Grammy Awards for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Arrangement of the Year, and helping Cross win the Best New Artist award. VH1 named this the greatest "softsational soft rock" song of all time.
