?wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> My wife and I sometimes contend about songs we both enjoy singing and my cover for June 2015 happens to be one of those songs. It’s playful teasing between the two of us as we vie for the mic for songs like “Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps”. Doris Day made a hit for herself with an English version of "Quizás", but Desi Arnaz sang the English version first! So “Hah” that means I’m justified to take the lead (making a childish expression at my wife – I feel so mature). And, it’s that playful spirit I captured in singing this timeless classic from 1948. Enjoy!
From Wikipedia: "Quizás, Quizás, Quizás" (also sometimes known simply as "Quizás"), is a popular song by Cuban songwriter Osvaldo Farrés. Farrés wrote the music and original Spanish lyrics for the song which became a hit for Bobby Capó in 1947. The English lyrics "Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps" were written by Joe Davis and are not a translation of the Spanish lyrics. The English version was first recorded by Desi Arnaz in 1948 (RCA).
