I was approached on YouTube in February 2011 after Christian Di Carlo of Gate57 visited my original YouTube channel: cglazaro100. He read my bio regarding my desire for David Foster to write a song for me. Christian let me know that David Foster was his friend and he was wondering if I would be interested in doing a collaboration with Gate57. I was thrilled beyond belief and jumped at the opportunity!
Christian Di Carlo, Marcello Centorame, and Max Centorame are Gate57. Please visit their sites on ReverbNation and YouTube! They are three Italians who are passionate about music and have collaborated with many musicians around the world! Somehow, I was blessed to have the opportunity to work with them. We coordinated entirely over the internet, though visiting Italy and enjoying their personal company would have been even more wonderful! The convenience of using the internet was more than enough to produce the exciting project called "Memories". Gate57 graciously allowed me to write the lyrics and be the vocalist while they created all of the instrumentation, arranged, engineered, and produced, the final product. The music video was produced soon afterwards. Thirteen months later, I was asked to work on a second project in March 2012. Christian let me know an American songwriter thoroughly enjoyed my voice and wanted me to sing one of his songs. The songwriter was creating a collection of music and hired Gate57. I collaborated over the course of several months, and though I produced the vocals as desired by the songwriter, the music was never officially released. I really wish I could share the powerful music that was created, but the copyrighted materials are bound to the songwriter and I never had a chance to advertise the product. I'm proud to share the wonderful project I did successfully complete with Gate57 in "Memories". I'm also grateful for the friends I made in Christian, Marcello, and Max! I know I would be welcomed with open arms if I have an occasion to visit Italy.
