I think I could have been a good folk song writer. I love contemplative lyrics. It’s like speaking out loud to no one in particular. There’s something about human nature that makes the soul need to express what’s within. Some people need to be desperately heard and others just have a desperate need to let it all go. Sometimes, I feel that the weight is too great for me to carry if I keep everything bottled up inside. Letting it all go makes me feel free and it’s amazing what I discover and learn. Whatever the case may be, I know my heart has a lot to say and it desperately seeks to let it all out. Music and writing are my vehicles. Music and writing are my elixirs. I’m rejuvenated by both. I just need to start writing more of my own music … lol
