It's finally time to introduce one of the true talents in my own family: Ever Lazaro!!!!!!! Ever, Emersen and Cara all show promise in music. It's amazing how all three can carry a tune - no vibrato - yet, but they CAN SAAANG! I'm so proud of them ... (wiping tears of joy from my eyes) But, we'll do the singing thang later!
Anyhoo, because of Ever's and Emersen's accomplishments in Taekwondo and having the opportunity to perform in several piano recitals, they are great performers. Cara will be introduced to formal piano lessons later this year, so she's still happy watching her brothers. As a side note, I grin from ear-to-ear b/c Cara lights up our home with her magical voice as she sings throughout the day. I can feel her freedom as she goes about her activities, accompanied by her melodic expressions, singing classic tunes like "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", "Good Morning Lord", and, many of her own, original compositions. Ohhh ... to live with that free spirit once again! Emersen! Emersen finds more expression in dancing! He's a joy to watch, leading to exchanged astonishment between the rest of us, eyes wide open - "Did you see THAT!?!" And, Ever ... Ever has always been one with our piano. His hands flow over the keys like they were extensions of his own thoughts. I am personally living vicariously through Ever's hands. Ever always found his own music on the piano, even before he started piano lessons in April of 2007, just two months after he turned 5 years old. At 4 years old, he would sit down and find a melody, and just play. The notes flowed together. Actually, Cara is following the same path as Ever, and her melodies resonate with complexity. I've tried to capture some of her compositions on video, but she breaks her flow when she's aware of others attending to her. Though it tugs at my heart strings when she shuts down, I understand how intimate those moments are when not ready to share openly. Sorry, I keep gushing. I know that we all gush about our own children ... Almost three years later, Ever continues to be passionate on the piano. Almost daily, Ever will sit down at our baby grand and just start playing. It takes my breath away. His latest passion is learning many of the ABBA songs by ear. He mimics the chords too. It's amazing. So, without further ado, this is Ever's debut on YouTube!!!
